On Saturday, Oct 25th, shortly after sunrise, several hearty North Roland Park neighbors left their warm beds and headed out to Northern Parkway to finish the job that the city had started on clearing the Westbound sidewalk of trash and debris. Just a short time ago, this sidewalk was impassable due to vines, bamboo and trash. After four hours and 40+ bags that neighbors filled, the sidewalks are clear and attractive! Thank you to all who came, raked, shoveled, swept, pruned etc. We know that this is perhaps a temporary improvement, but then again, so is making one’s bed in the morning!
